If you think Lea Michele is stuck up I’m sorry but you need to fucking check yourself because you obviously don’t k now what the fuck you’re talking about. There’s a difference between loving yourself and being stuck up to the point that you put others down.
One of the main reasons that I LOVE Lea is BECAUSE she loves herself so much. Like most people my age, I’ve had my fair share of insecurities. I get insecure about my weight and my nose and my intelligence and my abilities, every single day. And the thing is that it seems to be a societal norm to hate yourself. People expect you to put yourself down. You’re not supposed to accept compliments, you’re supposed to deflect them. You’re not supposed to think positively about yourself. They preach that you should love yourself, but in reality, people who honestly, TRULY love themselves are misconstrued as being stuck up. Someone like Lea, who is beautiful and talented and knows it, is thought of as ‘stuck up’ simply because it’s just so rare to find somebody who has that much self-confidence. But Lea’s love for herself and sense of self worth has honestly helped me so much. She’s made me realise that it’s okay to love yourself, and it actually makes people love you more.
If you knew the first thing about Lea, if you’d taken the time to watch her interviews or find out more about her life, you wouldn’t be calling her stuck up. Firstly, she’s clearly not unpleasant to be around because she and her Glee castmates are basically attached at the hip. They spend so much time together off of the Glee set and they sure as hell wouldn’t be doing that if she was so unbearable. At the premiere for her first movie, she had an entire fucking fleet of her friends there supporting her, because they love her so much. They wouldn’t feel the need to support her if she was such a mega bitch.
But secondly, watch one fucking interview with her and you’ll see how grateful she is for everything she has. She’s constantly talking about how much she loves her job, her fans, her life. Yes, she loves herself. She knows she’s talented and she knows she’s attractive. And you know what? That’s fucking okay. There’s nothing wrong with knowing your self-worth. And she encourages her fans, and everyone else, to be the same way. She wantseveryone to love themselves and be as confident in themselves as she is. She genuinely cares about other people. She has such a big heart. She has helped me love myself more. And I’ll never be able to thank her enough for that.
So you can call her stuck up all the fuck you want but you honestly don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about xoxo
Message for Rachel haters
I’m sick of people hating on Rachel for the xmas episode. She was a victim of LAZY WRITING. She was reverted back to her s1 personality for the sole purpose of teaching their BS xmas lesson (I wont even touch upon the fucked-upness that is “people are selfish until someone reads them a bible story”)
Even if you wanna play it like that is her normal behavior (because it’s NOT. Rachel is ambitious not materialistic) it’s not that big of a deal. She made a list of things she wanted for Christmas (nevermind the fact that she’s Jewish, lazy fuck writers) SO WHAT. Most teenagers only think of xmas in terms of their gifts. I’m also betting most get more than 5 presents out of 50. I know I always did when I was sixteen years old.
At least she didn’t give a vegan & a Jew a fucking pig.
